The Brief
From inside the system to inside the client experience.
How do you build immediate credibility for a solo practitioner whose credentials are genuinely extraordinary — without letting the design feel cold, institutional, or inaccessible to the immigrant communities he serves?
Sammy Aliferis has seen U.S. immigration law from every angle: as a DHS Trial Attorney prosecuting cases, as an Immigration Judge adjudicating them, and now as private counsel defending clients against the very system he once represented.
That perspective — rare, earned, and deeply human — was the foundation of everything. The brand needed to communicate insider authority without sacrificing the warmth and accessibility that immigrant families need when their futures are on the line.
The result is a trilingual digital presence that serves clients in English, Spanish, and Portuguese — structured to educate, reassure, and convert across cultures and legal complexity.

Creative Direction
Designing credibility with compassion.
The brand was built around the Sage–Advocate archetype: a voice that educates, protects, and uplifts through knowledge. Deep navy, ivory, and warm gold signal integrity and calm authority. Every typographic and layout decision was guided by a single principle — clarity builds trust, and trust converts.

Playfair Display and Raleway create an editorial rhythm — precise, legible, and approachable across three languages.

Architecture & Scope
Structure designed for trust.
The website was designed to function as both a digital office and an educational resource — organized for clarity across three languages and ten distinct practice areas, with a dedicated Federal Cases section that positions the firm's most distinctive capability front and center.
Hero headline: "U.S. Immigration Law Guidance from the Inside Out." Credentials, practice overview, testimonials, and federal court admissions — all above the fold or one scroll away.
A dedicated top-level section for federal litigation — mandamus actions, detention challenges, stalled USCIS decisions — positioning the firm's rarest capability as a primary offering.
Individual pages for each immigration category: Business & Employment, Family-Based, Removal Defense, Asylum, Citizenship, Humanitarian Protections, Waivers, Detention, Appeals, and Federal Litigation.
Nine real, named client testimonials published in their original language — English, Spanish, and Portuguese — with no translations, preserving authenticity.
A scrolling display of 19 federal court admissions across multiple circuits and districts — a credibility signal designed to be seen, not buried in a bio.
Simplified trilingual contact form with live chat integration — meeting clients where they are, in the language they're most comfortable in.
A global message for a borderless reality
Built to speak every client's language.
In immigration work, nearly every client is asked to explain the most consequential facts of their life in a second language — so the identity was designed to translate without losing its weight. The type system, hierarchy, and spacing hold across scripts, from Latin to Greek, Cyrillic, Chinese, and Arabic.
From the Bench to the Brand
DHS Trial Attorney
Years prosecuting immigration cases for the U.S. government — giving Sammy a command of federal procedure that few private attorneys can match.
Immigration Judge
Serving as an Immigration Judge in Varick, New York — adjudicating the very cases he now defends. That vantage point shapes every strategy.
19 Federal Courts
Admitted to practice in federal district courts and circuits across the country — from the Eleventh Circuit to the Southern District of Florida and beyond.
The Result
A complete trilingual digital presence that translates two decades of insider experience into a brand clients can trust on first contact — and a structure that supports the firm's growth across federal courts nationwide.
A unified trilingual platform (EN/ES/PT) reflecting ethical professionalism and genuine cultural accessibility.
Ten individual practice area pages — each written and structured to educate clients and support organic search.
A Federal Cases section that positions the firm's most distinctive credential as a primary service offering.
Real multilingual client testimonials published in their original voice — building trust without translation loss.
Print Collateral
This project is a reminder that the most powerful brand asset is often the story that's already there — it just needs the right structure to be heard. Sammy's credentials are extraordinary: a former DHS trial attorney and immigration judge. Authority like that doesn't need to be announced, only made visible — in the restraint of the palette, the steadiness of the type, and a message that arrives in the reader's own language. Our job was to make sure no one who needed him would ever scroll past without knowing it.
"In a field where precision matters, our goal was to design calm."
